Hi Keith,
Thanks so much for your letter, and for all you have done for David throughout the years you have led him to a healthy lifestyle.
I have to say that this was a fabulous year for him at camp, and that he seems to have grown up in a lot of great ways. When I first met you, I instantly knew you were going to be someone who would be an important and positive factor in David’s life. He is indeed one of your success stories, and you should be very proud of the physical, emotional and social support you offer him and all the kids you have in your care.
If there’s anything I can do to help you with your work, please call on me.
I guess you just figured David probably wont be back as a camper next year. He told me he had a very healthy realization that it’s time for him to “move on.” He would like to go to at least one pre-college program next year, and then after that come back to you (if you’ll have him) as a counselor. I know he’ll never forget all you have done for him-and he feels very strongly about giving it back to kids who need the same kind of love. If he can, maybe he’ll come for a week or two next year.
We can’t wait to hear about the reunions. If you want to have one here even in our apartment, I’ll make sure it’s available.
There is and indoor paintball place in Queens, by the way…just a thought!
All My Best
