Hi Keith,

I have to tell you what an incredibly POSITIVE difference we’ve been noticing in Julia since her return. After a couple of days of frankly over-the top depression for wanting to be at camp with her camp friends, she finally started returning to her old self and vocalized some of her feelings.

“I never knew any other way people could be, but everyone there is so nice – and everyone is so accepting,” she said (between tears).

She really formed some close bonds with kids there. And she realized some things as well about relationships with boys and how they SHOULD be vs. how too many boys try to make them be. She really seems to have had her eyes opened on so many levels. This alone makes us extremely thankful that we forced(yes, forced) her to come to camp, but she’s also being very mindful of what and how much she eats, and she’s made sure to work in exercise each day – all very positive steps!
Thanks again for everything. I KNOW she’d love to have a reunion, and I’m betting she’ll be returning next year for at least another 4 weeks!
