Hi, I’m Keith Zucker, director and owner of Camp Empire Lake. My weight loss experience began at age 7 as a camper at Camp Kingsmont in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. After ten memorable summers, I was thrilled to become a camp counselor. Within three years I was made a camp director. When opportunity knocked in 1991, at age 22, I became one of the youngest camp owners in the market.

My personal camp experience was invaluable in helping me understand what worked and what didn’t work in the weight loss camp world. My many years of behind the scenes knowledge and extensive camp research were instrumental in helping me transform the old camp philosophy of quick weight loss, to my proven method of total lifestyle change.

As a parent of two boys, Ryan 12 and Eric 8, I am also a camp consumer. Like you, I’ve learned first hand what to look for when picking a camp for my boys. Their happiness is of utmost importance, anything less is unacceptable. This personal connection makes me even more determined to keep my staff, program and camp quality above and beyond.

Today, Camp Empire Lake gives all campers the opportunity to have fun, build confidence and discover positive nutritional and fitness techniques that last long after summer is over. My team and I work to support our campers every step of the way. From serving meals in the dining hall, visiting cabins, or instructing various activities, I interact with every camper as a friend and guide on their road to success.

Through support, guidance and a nurturing environment, I am dedicated to creating a fun-filled, memorable summer for every camper.
